  I stayed at Airport Planet Lodge purely by happenstance. I mistakenly tried to board my flight at JRO a day early, I was confused by the time change. Oops! I... read more asked the driver to take me to the closest hotel. I was warmly greeted by the staff (who speak excellent English) and shown to my room. The room is HUGE and beautiful. There was an outdoor deck and the bathroom was to die for. The shower could fit up to 8 people! The water (unlike most showers I had in Tanzania) was hot. The grounds are expertly groomed with lots of flowers and birds. There's a large pool and gym. I had a wonderful massage by Glory the masseuse. She gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I had a delightful dinner in the restaurant and slept comfortably on the king bed in my nice cool room. I didn't hear any airplane or car noise. Breakfast was to die for and they took me back to the airport (this time I have the right date). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
