  Fantastic Stay! - Our one-night stay at Planet Lodge was absolutely amazing! From the moment we entered the compound until we left, the staff was fantastic—super sweet, accommodating, and attentive to every detail.... read more The property manager, Abu, and his incredible team ensured we were well taken care of, even for our short visit. We especially appreciated how everyone made us feel welcome, often saying, "This is your home," which added such a warm and personal touch to our experience.

The local meal we had for dinner was delicious and a wonderful highlight of our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable—perfect for a restful night.

Although brief, our experience at Planet Lodge was memorable, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

The bed was very... read more comfortable- one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. They have a laundry service and can do a quick turn around for an extra fee if you are in a hurry. They also cleaned my boots for no cost. I would definitely recommend staying at the Planet Lodge for anyone passing through this area.

I needed laundry service at 5pm and they returned my garment before bed. Our Server Kelvin was the best. 11 out of 10. You must stay here whenever flying into Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). We wish we could have stayed longer.

  Near to Kili airport but their property in Arusha is better - I’ve stayed in their property in Arusha which is much nicer. The convenience of this hotel to Kili airport is nice, but I was not as impressed by the staff... read more and grounds. Our check in was chaotic. There were mistakes with our booking which necessitated a supervisor get involved. Once that was settled the restaurant closed in between lunch and dinner. We hadn’t eaten all day. They did provide us with food, however. The rooms are really nice! The shower is amazing.
I didn’t use the pool or other facilities. The Arusha property is greener with nicer grounds. My room at this hotel was very loud with lorries passing by my room at all hours.
