  We used the lodge as a place to stay on the way out of the bush, and before heading to the airport. Many others were just getting in from their... read more flights and used as a place to stay overnight before starting their excursions - it's great for both. We were able to eat, grab a drink, shower and relax before our flight which really made a big difference. The pool was fantastic too - great way to cool down and relax. Walking trails - well maybe a bit of an overstatement as there really aren't walking trails. But food was good, and people were super nice - we would definitely stay here again. My only "complaint" is that they were watering the grass and plants - in a place that has serious water issues, I'd prefer that they were more eco-friendly.

  A little bit of paradise off the main road - The lodge is a little bit of paradise right off of the main road. They are doing major construction on the main road so it can be noisy, but we... read more did not hear anything in our room. The room was comfortable, and luckily the air conditioning worked. There is a nice little sitting area on the patio outside of the room but the room itself only had one chair at a desk. There are many places to sit outside, all nicely shaded. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good. Breakfast was included, but the dinner was à la cart. We did use the pool and the water was a nice temperature, but there was a lot of pollen and dust floating on top of the water. We appreciated the airport shuttle service.

I arrived in the morning so, I booked a, day room and a night, so had my room to rest during the day.
Clean room, very friendly staff.
You can even get a massage.
Great food.
Nice landscaped yard, birds, butterfly...
