  Oasis near Kilimanjaro airport - We stopped here for a night on the way to our safari destination, as it was a short (~15 min) drive from Kilimanjaro airport. The grounds were attractive and well-kept.... read more We didn’t use the pool, but it looked well-maintained and inviting. Sadly, we didn’t have time to use the available spa services either. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The wall-mounted AC unit got the room cool within a few minutes. The beds are equipped with a surrounding mosquito net, though we didn’t really have any issues with bugs in our rooms or on the grounds (early June). There is a large outdoor patio dining/bar area which was very welcoming for dining and drinks. Our dinner was well-prepared and tasty, though I would have liked to see some more items that explored the local cuisine. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a nice selection of fruits, pastries, hot items, and an omelette station. The highlight of the stay was the staff who were universally friendly, conscientious, and helpful.

The lodge is 15mn from the airport.
I arrived in the morning so, I booked a, day room and a night, so had my room to rest during the day.
Clean room, very friendly staff.
You can even get a massage.
Great food.
Nice landscaped yard, birds, butterfly...

After a fantastic 10 day safari, we checked into Airport Planet Lodge to relax before our return journey home. Pre-dawn... read more drives had made us tired and craning to see all the amazing animals and birds had strained our necks. Catherine and Glory gave us the best 90 minute massages we could have asked for. We were so relaxed as they worked the kinks out we didn’t want to leave. They really knew what they were doing. I felt in good knowledge hands. My neck felt an inch longer after getting off the table. If only we could find massages this good at home in London!

  A holiday to remember - I went there with my family for the holidays and to be honest it was the most comfortable hotel I've ever been to since the service was wonderful, the rooms... read more were quite comfortable and furnished in high standards, the food was delicious and highly hygienic and the environment itself is breathtaking such that it could mesmerize a person in seconds, we didn't find trouble getting transport and it's within close proximity to the airport hence we didn't find trouble reaching there. The experience was lovely I'd highly recommend others to go through this wonderful experience
