  Perfect stay - We stayed here 1 night, after our long international flight and before our flight to Seronera (Serengeti). I scheduled transfer to the hotel through the hotel and they were waiting... read more right outside the arrivals door with a sign with my name. The driver drove us the 5 minutes to the hotel where we were met with welcome drinks and checked in. We were assisted to our room, which was clean and comfortable. For our transfer back to the airport, the driver was prompt and dropped us off with no issues. I would stay here again. Everything was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bed was very... read more comfortable- one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. They have a laundry service and can do a quick turn around for an extra fee if you are in a hurry. They also cleaned my boots for no cost. I would definitely recommend staying at the Planet Lodge for anyone passing through this area.

There was a pool, but we declined to use it. The hotel was great in allowing our safari companions to shower (extra towels were provided) before they departed for the airport for their flight that evening. The dining was excellent and service was great. The hotel provided us with timely transportation to the airport in time for our flight.

Planet Lodge has... read more comfy beds, clean basic rooms, good hot showers with strong water pressure, strong internet, TV, pool and sauna, and a decent basic restaurant and bar. This place is not the Ritz Carlton. But I was pleasantly surprised how nice, clean, and comfortable this 3 star lodge was! It was actually much nicer that some of the janky places our supposed luxe safari company put us up in our our trip.
