I removed one star bc our bathroom had a leaky toilet tank and our shower floor slanted so the water spill out to the main floor. However, on the plus side, the staff was extremely friendly and very responsive to our needs. Breakfast had great variety and I enjoyed the made-to-order omelet. I would highly recommend this lodge if a convenient stay close to the airport is needed.

The grounds are large and tranquil and the planting and landscaping is so nice. Particular shoutout to the young staff. Each and every one of them are charming! Smiley, warm and ever so genuinely friendly. Mseeni the waiter in the restaurant was so great. His personality shone through at dinner and breakfast. All we can say is that this place is the perfect way to introduce you or bid you farewell to the hospitality of Tanzania. The management is clearly extremely attentive and eager to maintain its standards. We commend you and will recommend you when we are back home in UK.

The hotel has large and very clean hotel rooms with WIFI, air conditioning, and large comfortable king size beds! The grounds are well maintained, lush, and very nice. The pool was a great place to cool off on warm afternoons.

We took one of the tours that the staff assisted us in booking to Marangu where we saw the Chaga cave, took a great hike to a waterfall, and visited Kilimanjaro's Marangu Gate. Highly recommend doing one of their tours.

The best part about the Airport Planet Lodge was that the service was just outstanding and the staff was so very friendly! In fact the staff's genuine and sincere friendliness should add an additional star to their rating! It started at the top with the hotel manager, Abuu, who welcomed us personally and was available and interacted with us several times. All of the staff was excellent but some who we really loved were Evarest, Husnah, Garboy, Pendo, and Eva. The food and drinks were really good and the overall cost of the stay was a great value. We loved every minute of our stay and were sad to leave. They staff sang to us when we left! Asante Sana!!

Also, the staff had arranged for airport pickup and drop off. Stay here!
