I stayed at Planet Lodge Airport near JRO for a few days after my late night arrival in... read more Tanzania. The shuttle met me at the airport and the driver was very kind and personable. I then traveled through beautiful Tanzania and returned to Planet Lodge Airport near JRO for two nights. I had a 5:27am plane departure and was given a breakfast box for the airport when we left at 3am. The restaurant was very good and the chef was very accommodating when I asked for slightly different variations of menu items or extra avocado with most of my meals It’s the closest lodge near JRO airport and well worth the convenience of having an efficient complimentary shuttle to and from. Overall, the lodge was safe, accessible, reasonably priced, and well appointed for the business traveller.

A free transfer is provided to/from Kilimanjaro airport.
Day rooms are available if you want a room to relax in, grab a meal at the restaurant, a shower, and a rest, before your homeward bound flight.

  Great place to refresh - We only visited to shower and eat before leaving for the airport. The individual showers were perfect after a long day driving. The dinner was delicious

The meals were top notch. I had the best soup I've ever tasted here so props to the chef.

It was nice there's a little gym here too. It's got the basics to get the job done.

  A holiday to remember - I went there with my family for the holidays and to be honest it was the most comfortable hotel I've ever been to since the service was wonderful, the rooms... read more were quite comfortable and furnished in high standards, the food was delicious and highly hygienic and the environment itself is breathtaking such that it could mesmerize a person in seconds, we didn't find trouble getting transport and it's within close proximity to the airport hence we didn't find trouble reaching there. The experience was lovely I'd highly recommend others to go through this wonderful experience
