The lunch and dinner menu also far exceeded our expectations along with the beautiful pool. If you’re staying for 1 or 10 days we highly recommend this hotel!

Catherine and Glory gave us the best 90 minute massages we could have asked for. We were so relaxed as they worked the kinks out we didn’t want to leave. They really knew what they were doing. I felt in good knowledge hands. My neck felt an inch longer after getting off the table. If only we could find massages this good at home in London!

Our double room was clean andspacious with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. The shower had plenty of power. There was balcony with a seating area but we didn't have the chance to use it. Our room was close to reception but was quietThe following morning we enjoyed a good breakfast before our check out. Highly recommended.

Planet Lodge has... read more comfy beds, clean basic rooms, good hot showers with strong water pressure, strong internet, TV, pool and sauna, and a decent basic restaurant and bar. This place is not the Ritz Carlton. But I was pleasantly surprised how nice, clean, and comfortable this 3 star lodge was! It was actually much nicer that some of the janky places our supposed luxe safari company put us up in our our trip.

When I signed in at the front desk, a cockroach... read more almost ran over the piece of paper I was writing on. There was a lot of industrial noise from a facility nearby all night. Tacky Christmas lights were mounted around the restaurant and, to add insult to injury, they played a beeping song all evening.

Positive aspects: Staff was very friendly, the mattress on my bed was good, they had Nutella for breakfast (but no decent coffee).

  We used the lodge as a place to stay on the way out of the bush, and before heading to the airport. Many others were just getting in from their... read more flights and used as a place to stay overnight before starting their excursions - it's great for both. We were able to eat, grab a drink, shower and relax before our flight which really made a big difference. The pool was fantastic too - great way to cool down and relax. Walking trails - well maybe a bit of an overstatement as there really aren't walking trails. But food was good, and people were super nice - we would definitely stay here again. My only "complaint" is that they were watering the grass and plants - in a place that has serious water issues, I'd prefer that they were more eco-friendly.
