I... read more stayed here prior to and after a Kilimanjaro hike. Both rooms that I stayed in were well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant for all 3 meal periods was great! Good quality and service, by Usnah, David and Kelvin! It was nice to relax by the pool and also the lounge area close to the bar. I took advantage of the laundry service after my hike to get nice clean and fresh clothes to take home. Front desk staff, Eva and Julian, were very accommodating. The transport from/to the airport was much appreciated and it was only 10-15 minutes to the lodge. I slept very well on both stays... Cannot recommend this lodge enough!

The hotel has large and very clean hotel rooms with WIFI, air conditioning, and large comfortable king size beds! The grounds are well maintained, lush, and very nice. The pool was a great place to cool off on warm afternoons.

We took one of the tours that the staff assisted us in booking to Marangu where we saw the Chaga cave, took a great hike to a waterfall, and visited Kilimanjaro's Marangu Gate. Highly recommend doing one of their tours.

The best part about the Airport Planet Lodge was that the service was just outstanding and the staff was so very friendly! In fact the staff's genuine and sincere friendliness should add an additional star to their rating! It started at the top with the hotel manager, Abuu, who welcomed us personally and was available and interacted with us several times. All of the staff was excellent but some who we really loved were Evarest, Husnah, Garboy, Pendo, and Eva. The food and drinks were really good and the overall cost of the stay was a great value. We loved every minute of our stay and were sad to leave. They staff sang to us when we left! Asante Sana!!

  A holiday to remember - I went there with my family for the holidays and to be honest it was the most comfortable hotel I've ever been to since the service was wonderful, the rooms... read more were quite comfortable and furnished in high standards, the food was delicious and highly hygienic and the environment itself is breathtaking such that it could mesmerize a person in seconds, we didn't find trouble getting transport and it's within close proximity to the airport hence we didn't find trouble reaching there. The experience was lovely I'd highly recommend others to go through this wonderful experience

From greeting you, bringing the bags to your room, check-in, breakfast/dinner. The rooms are great: the beds so comfortable and needed after a 24 hours travel to Tanzania ore after returning from either safari or a day hike at Kilimanjaro. The shower is wonderful (also very much needed) and the pool and gardens are enjoyable. But what is hands down the best, is dinner - the food is juts absolutely delicious!
