The staff was so kind, the food was delicious, and as everyone else wrote, the rooms were clean and comfortable. We rested up in their very comfortable beds, and even got massages at their spa (some of the best massages we’ve ever had). Could not recommend this place enough if you need a stay very conveniently located near the airport, yet feels like a private little getaway in itself.

We had previously stayed in downtown Arusha and found that for the bulk of our needs, this is a much better location. If planning the trip over again, we would’ve stayed here and traveled into Arusha if we wanted to see the sites there, rather than staying in Arusha and traveling back this way every time we wanted to go to the close attractions such as Arusha National Park.

We especially appreciated how everyone made us feel welcome, often saying, "This is your home," which added such a warm and personal touch to our experience.

The local meal we had for dinner was delicious and a wonderful highlight of our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable—perfect for a restful night.

Although brief, our experience at Planet Lodge was memorable, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

  Great lounging location before flight home - I stayed one night here, after doing Safari and Zanzibar. I needed some downtime to lounge around before my flight home, and this hotel was perfect for it.

Within... read more 5 minutes of checking in, I signed up for a relaxing massage onsite.

I also needed help tracking down my lost luggage during a connecting flight. The staff called Swissport and the airline, and helped me track my luggage down within the same day.

I highly recommend this hotel for those who need some lounging time before (to get ready for upcoming Safari adventure) or those who need some relaxing down time before heading home.
