  The hotel was very comfortable for our final nights stay before flying out of Kilimanjaro. Comfortable room with air conditioning and a huge bed. The dinner was lovely and breakfast... read more too, particularly the bacon and pancakes.

Staff were very attentive and friendly.

The only bad experience was the free airport transfer. Although it was only a 15 min journey, we felt quite unsafe. The driver was erratic, overtaking other vehicles dangerously. The worst part was the driver hitting and killing a dog at 70 km/h on the road to the airport, as well as narrowly missing a second one. The two dogs were visible in the road from far away, at least 300m, so we didn't think to tell the driver to slow down as there was ample time for him to see and do so. However he ploughed straight through them, killing one instantly. It's fair enough to expect cultural differences when travelling (particularly regarding sentimentality to animals) but this was just cruel, unnecessary and dangerous.

Nice hotel, change the driver.

Upon landing and clearing customs, a rep with our name on a sign... read more was waiting for us. He led us to the van, offered hand sanitizer, and wore his face mask the entire ride. 9min later only after leaving the airport, we arrived at the hotel.

The check-in experience was excellent. We were offered refreshments and cold towels. Hand sanitizing stations were clearly marked all over the property.

After asking about the gift shop, the manager proudly took us the store that he kept locked due to the low occupation (covid-19 related). Great stuff in there!

The AC in the room was great, the linens clean and the bed firm.

We took the time to hit the restaurant where we enjoyed the best pizza ever!

Service, accommodation, AC, wifi, gym, proximity to the airport; no need to think twice, this is the place! More

I... read more asked the driver to take me to the closest hotel. I was warmly greeted by the staff (who speak excellent English) and shown to my room. The room is HUGE and beautiful. There was an outdoor deck and the bathroom was to die for. The shower could fit up to 8 people! The water (unlike most showers I had in Tanzania) was hot. The grounds are expertly groomed with lots of flowers and birds. There's a large pool and gym. I had a wonderful massage by Glory the masseuse. She gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I had a delightful dinner in the restaurant and slept comfortably on the king bed in my nice cool room. I didn't hear any airplane or car noise. Breakfast was to die for and they took me back to the airport (this time I have the right date). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beds were very comfortable and clean.

Only feedback would be that for an airport hotel, more flexible checkout times would be nice! $20 per hour extra to stay in your room.

Highly recommend this hotel.
